This item will hold a cup, but it is not designed as sports items that are made to hold cups inside a protective fabric.
Due to the size of the pouch, you can add a cup but it will be against your skin and does not have an extra fabric layer to hold the cup.

Nice

I received my pair today in blue. The description said chalk lined and expected them to have some type of lining in them but there wasn't. It also said it would enhance what you have, but I didn't find that to be the case. True, the pouch is more comfortable than regular briefs, and after I read the reviews, I bought one size smaller, and they fit very good. The description said an internal lifting pouch, but didn't lift things as I thought that it would.
Still, they a very comfortable and I would recommend buying them as your goods don't feel all squashed up.

love the way they look and feel

I purchase the yellow ones last year and notice the waist band loose after several washes, I just ordered two more a size smaller.
great price for good trunks.

Beware of sizing chart

Although the sizing chart says: XL 37" -39". Not true I ordered the XL and it is more like an 40"- 44". I have a 36" - 37" waist and should have ordered the Large 34"-36"...In other words they run large. I do wish they would have fit better, because the material IS comfortable.
