I have a problem with specialty underwear online shops, their sizing is usually not true to size. Expecting same, I ordered this brief in 3X, expecting a perfect fit. Was I surprised to find out that they were actually a little loose, wearable, but actually fit nicely for casual wear. I really wanted these for a swim trunk and based on the sexy, sculpted fit, I can order again with confidence the next size down for that purpose. I have a 38-39 waist, so be confident that these briefs are true to American sizing charts. The 3X would definitely fit a guy up to a 42 waist. I like the fact the pouch is roomy. Most underwaer makers seem to think all us guys are slight on endowment, but these briefs give you plenty of room for your manhood. The camo pattern breaks up your buldge a bit, so I'm confident enough to wear them around the swiming pool in Mexico. Big guys, like me, take heart, this one actually will fit a big bear! BTW, they are double lined, but don't feel it (not thick), so they can be worn like a swim trunk with the white, fine cloth inside. The camo print does not show up on the inside and won't reveal too much when wet. The double stitching explains why they are higher priced than normal boxer briefs. They make a perfect-fitting set of swim trunks without the ill-fitting, itchy mesh design inside. They allow your boys to bounce a little when walking in them, which I really like. They are superbly comfortable, I wore them as underwear one day just to see, and they were absolutely one of the sexiest-feeling things I've had on in awhile. My previous favorite was the Life Sculpted Pouch boxer brief, I now have another favorite. As 50 year old male, I appreciate the great craftsmanship of the seamsters who put these together. They are beautifully & symmetrically sewn (which is difficult to do in this material) and they have a mid rise, which is perfect for me. I love that there are no logos splashed all over them. Congrats to NDS and ABC WH. Bubba Bears rejoice!
