According to specs you would fall between the Large and XL and this all depends on the type of feel you wish to have for the udnerwear. We would recommend starting with 1 piece in a Large to see if that is the correct fit you are looking for.

Great fabric, but the shorts are not really useful for anything. The "inseam," stretched out is barely 7/8 of an inch. In reality, effectively less than half an inch.
If these shorts were structured like running shorts or gym shorts, even with a deep side split, they would be very good because, as noted, the 100% cotton mesh fabic is great.
Great shorts - I wear them commando when running and get a lot of attention!
Yet again, great service and really comfy shorts that still provide such a risque sight when bending or crouching. So naughty really but who cares?! Great for wearing outside in the garden, whether relaxing or bending to put the washing out on the line! Lol. Photo attached.
