I typically wear a 36". The large says 34-36, should i go larger? Smaller than 36" will be quite snug

I’m looking for the best underwear to wear when I go to the gym. I wear compression pants and I’m usually a brief person but my girlfriend told me last time that you can see the whole outline of my underwear lines and she said I need to find a way to prevent them when I’m working out

Very comfortable, material is very nice, streches to fit a nice package, very sexy, you can see a very nice outline, without being too revealing, stays put, now side revealing, love them, wear them all the time at public beach, wife has a matching color thong, we love to tan with minimal tan lines.
